सामग्री सर्विंग: 3

  1. 1 cup Saamai Rice | Little Millet
  2. 3 cups Water
  3. 1 tblsp Carrot diced
  4. 1 tblsp Peas
  5. 3 Green Chillies finely chopped
  6. 1 sprig Kadhi Patta | Curry Leaves
  7. 1 tsp Rai | Mustard Seeds
  8. 1 tsp Urad Dal
  9. 1 tsp Oil
  10. To taste Salt
  11. 1 cup Saamai Rice | Little Millet
  12. 3 cups Water
  13. 1 tblsp Carrot diced
  14. 1 tblsp Peas
  15. 3 Green Chillies finely chopped
  16. 1/2 Adrak | Ginger finely chopped
  17. 1 sprig Kadhi Patta | Curry Leaves
  18. 1 tsp Rai | Mustard Seeds
  19. 1 tsp Urad Dal
  20. 1 tsp Oil
  21. To taste Salt

निर्देश

  1. Soak the Saamai Rice for about 20 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
  2. In a non-stick Kadhai, heat oil and add rai, urad dal and curry leaves. When the rai splutters, add the carrots and peas. Saute for 2 minutes. Add water and salt.
  3. When the water comes to a boil, add the drained Saamai Rice and mix well.
  4. When this comes to a boil, keep the gas flame on low and cover and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
  5. Check to see if Saamai Rice is cooked. Once done, transfer to a serving bowl. Serve hot with any Pickle.
