Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Raw Banana-1
  2. Potato-1
  3. Onion-2
  4. Tomato-1
  5. Ginger- 1 inch size
  6. Garlic cloves-7-8
  7. Oil-4 tbsp
  8. Mustard-1\2 tsp
  9. Jeera-1\2 tsp
  10. Turmeric powder-1\2 tsp
  11. Chilly powder- 1tsp
  12. Salt- to taste

Instructions

  1. Add chopped onion, ginger, garlic to a mixer and grind it into fine paste.
  2. Peel skin of raw banana and potato.cut them into long strips of one inch.
  3. Heat 2 tbsp of in a pan and fry this potato & raw banana for a while.
  4. Heat remaining oil in a pan,pop out mustard & jeera seeds.Add in ground paste and saute till raw smell goes.Then add in dry masala powder, tomato and saute for a while.
  5. Then add the fried vegetable to it and mix .Add in 2-3 cups water, check for salt and allow it to boil. When it reaches the consistency you prefer switch off. Serve it for hot steamed rice.

I made it for lunch..and it was unexpectedly delicious!colour and taste is almost like the hotel curries...very nice and useful recipe..
