ABOUT Paneer jalfrezi RECIPE

It's an Eastern dish with spicy stir fry paneer and bell pepper in pan. Jalfrezi means jhal + stir fry. Jhal means spicy in bengali. Paneer and veggies stir fry in spicy Kashmiri chilly and garam masala .Easy and best idea for a quick party.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1cup paneer cut length wise
  2. I cup all three color bell peppers (red, green, yellow) cut length wise
  3. 1 big onion length wise
  4. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  5. 2-3 green chillies chopped or as per your spice level
  6. Oil- 2 tbsp
  7. All spices as per your taste buds- chilly powder
  8. salt
  9. haldi
  10. Garam masala
  11. Cumin, coriander powder
  12. FOR GARNISH-
  13. ginger julienne for garnish
  14. Chopped coriander green chilly
  15. Two tbsp cream for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan.. Add ginger garlic paste
  2. Add green chilly chopped
  3. Add bell peppers and onions and add all masala
  4. Keep Stirring it.. We don't want veggies messy we want crunchy in bite.. So when it became tender add paneer and all dry spices and lemon juice
  5. Switch off the gas.. Garnish it with ginger julienne fresh coriander and slit green chillies and cream..
  6. Enjoy with paratha or naan or chapati

I don't have red and yellow bell peppers..is it okay to skip them ?
