ABOUT Fruit Cake RECIPE

A classic Tea time cake! So easy to make and a favourite for Christmas

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 120g Tutti Frutti
  2. 100g Raisins and Walnuts
  3. 1/2 cup Buttter (about 100gms)
  4. 100g White Sugar
  5. 3 Eggs
  6. 1 tsp Vanilla exract
  7. 1/4 cup Milk
  8. 1 1/2 cups Flour
  9. 1/2 cup Ground Almonds
  10. 1 tsp Baking powder
  11. 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Combine tutti frutti and raisins.
  2. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius. Grease and flour a loaf pan
  3. Whisk flour, ground almonds, baking powder and salt.
  4. Beat butter and sugar in an electric mixer until it becomes fluffy.
  5. Add the vanilla extract, tutti frutti, raisins and walnuts.
  6. Add milk and beat gently
  7. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for an hour.
  8. Remove from oven and let it cool
  9. Slice when cool and serve with Tea/coffee.

Please correct your method. You left out the eggs and flour mix. Experienced bakers will make sense of it, but not those who aren't. The recipe looks easy enough, though.
