Bengali style mashed potatoes.

Alu Bhatte

Ingredients to make Alu Bhatte

  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 2 green chillies,chopped
  • 1 red onion,chopped (I used white)
  • 2 tablespoon ghee/clarified butter or mustard oil
  • salt to taste

How to make Alu Bhatte

  1. Boil and mash the potatoes with potato masher or potato ricer. Add in salt,green chilli,onion and mix well until combined.
  2. Drizzle in melted ghee and serve warm.
