Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 300 gms Paneer
  2. 1 capsicum cut into jullienes
  3. 2 onions cut nto big pieces
  4. 2 onions chopped
  5. 1 green chilli chopped
  6. 3 tomatoes chopped
  7. 1 5 inch ginger chopped
  8. 4 garlic cloves crushed
  9. 5 tomatoes puree
  10. 3/4 tspn garam masala
  11. 1/2 tspn kasuri methi crushed
  12. 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup water
  13. 2 tblspn cream
  14. 3 tblspn ghee
  15. 4 dry red chillies
  16. Chopped corriander leaves
  17. Salt to taste
  18. 1/2 tspn black pepper
  19. 1 tspn dhania powder
  20. Cinnamon stick
  21. Cardamom powder

Instructions

  1. Method for kadai paneer gravy.
  2. Add 1/2 tspn ghee in a kadai and put the chopped onions i it.
  3. Saute it and add puree of tomatoes, green chilli, ginger and garlic cloves.
  4. Saute them and cover it with the lid so that tomatoes are cooked.
  5. After 5 to 10 mins, open the lid and let it cool down.
  6. Then put it in a mixing jar to make a puree.
  7. Now heat the pan and add ghee in it.
  8. Now add bay leaf, cardamom powder and cinnamon stick to it.
  9. Stirr it and add big chopped onion cut into big pieces or slices.
  10. Saute it for 2 to 3 mins and add dry red chilli.
  11. Saute it again and add chopped tomatoes.
  12. Saute it and now add capsicum cut into jullienne.
  13. Keep stirring and when these all are fried then add the onion tomato mix puree to it.
  14. Saute it for 5 mins and see the consistency and then add water to it.
  15. Now add salt, black pepper and dhania powder and mix it again.
  16. When it starts boiling then add garam masala and crushed kasuri methi.
  17. And after that add paneer cut into cubes and mix it.
  18. And now its ready to serve.
  19. But before serving garnish it with chopped corriander leaves and pour some cream on it.
  20. Serve it with naan, parantha or jera rice.
