ABOUT Pan Seared Paneer In Grapefruit Sauce RECIPE

Saw this recipe in french channel,the chef prepared in Tofu and paprika but replaced it with Paneer and red chilli powder.Its turned out absolutely tasty .

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. To Marinate
  2. Paneer - 300 gms
  3. Salt -to taste
  4. Red chilli powder - 1 1/2 tsp
  5. Garam Masala -1/4 tsp
  6. Ginger Garlic paste -1 tsp
  7. Oil - 2 tbsp
  8. For Grapefruit Sauce :
  9. Grapefruit Juice -1/4 cup (freshly squeezed)
  10. Unsalted Butter - 20 gm
  11. Finely Chopped garlic - 1 tbsp
  12. Finely Chopped coriander leaves -2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Cut the paneer in 1/2 " rectangle shape .Let it soak in hot water for 2 mins.So that paneer will absorb the masala and it will be soft.
  2. Marinate the ingredinets given under"To marinate " for 5 mins.
  3. *Heat Oil in a non stick pan,fry the paneer on both sides until golden brown.Keep it aside.
  4. *On the same pan add the butter,roast the garlic,once it saute well add the coriander leaves.Then add the grapefruit sauce.Mix well and boil it for 2 mins or the sauce will be little thick .Switch off the flame.
  5. *While serving,place the paneer in a plate and drizzle the sauce all over the paneer on top .
