ABOUT Mughlai chicken kheema RECIPE

Chicken mince cooked in well roasted onion peas base .Authentic mughlai masalas with bay leaves, badi elaichi ,saunf shah zeera and cinnamon cloves ground to add 1tspn.This kheema can be done as bhuna kheema as dry and gravy for rice or breads naans and khichadi.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 200 gms chicken mince
  2. 2 onions small chopped fine
  3. One tomato chopped
  4. 1 cup green peas frozen
  5. salt to taste
  6. 2tblspn oil
  7. 1tsp red chilli powder
  8. 1tspn garam masala
  9. 1/2 tsp nutmeg Mace mix
  10. Pinch of haldi
  11. Some corriander chopped


  1. Wash clean chicken kheema
  2. Keep onion chopped ready
  3. Soak wash frozen peas for 5 minutes
  4. Heat 2tblspn oil and saute onions for 2 minutes ,add green peas here
  5. Add 1tblspn ginger garlic paste stir fry well
  6. Add tomatoes and masala now
  7. Now add the chicken mince stir fry all well
  8. Add 1 glass water and pressure cook
  9. 15 minutes pressure cook and remove
