About Egg Bharta Recipe

Chicken Bharta is a very famous dish in India. But Eggtarians may also enjoy the dish ! It is creamy, spicy and aromatic dish. You will be filled with joy and happiness after having egg vorta with paratha and onion salad. It is finger licking good .

Egg Bharta

Ingredients to make Egg Bharta

  • Bolied egg white - 4
  • Boiled and mashed egg yolk - 2
  • onion paste - 2 tbsp
  • ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • red chilli paste - 1 tsp
  • yogurt - 1 tbsp
  • cream - 2 tbsp
  • red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder - 1 pinch
  • Garam masala powder - 2 tsp
  • cumin powder - 1 tsp
  • Roasted dry fenugreek leaves - 1 tsp
  • Chopped Corriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  • salt - As required
  • oil - 2 tbsp
  • Warm water - 1/2 cup
  • butter - 1 tbsp
  • For garnishing :-
  • Corriander leaves
  • butter

How to make Egg Bharta

  1. Cut the boiled egg white into small pieces and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil and butter in a pan.
  3. Add onion paste, red chilli paste, ginger-garlic paste and saute for 30 minutes on a low flame.
  4. Add egg white pieces and stir for sometime.
  5. Now add mashed egg yolks, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt and stirring gently for sometime.
  6. Take a bowl and add warm water, yogurt, cream and little amount of salt mix together.
  7. Add the mixture in the pan and sprinkle Corriander leaves and roasted dry fenugreek leaves.
  8. Then cover the lid for 3 mins on a low flame.
  9. Open the lid and stirring continuously.
  10. Serve it with corriander leaves and butter.

My Tip:

If u want you can fry the boiled egg white pieces beforehand.
