About Chicken Pulao Recipe

Chicken Pulao recipe is very taste pulao recipe.

Chicken Pulao

Ingredients to make Chicken Pulao

  • chicken with bone 500 gm
  • Basmati rice 1 &1/2 cups
  • salt to taste
  • ginger & Garlic Paste 1tbsp
  • Green Chili 4/5nos
  • Chopped Criander leave 1tbsp
  • 3/4 Green cardamom
  • 5/6 cloves
  • 1 inch cinnamon
  • 10/12 Black pepper corns
  • 1/2 cup yougurt
  • 1tbsp Chili Powder
  • 2tbsp ghee
  • 1 bay leaves
  • 2 medium onion sliced

How to make Chicken Pulao

  1. Take chicken pieces in a bowl, add salt ,ginger garlic paste ,2 green chilies, 2/3 green cardamom 3/4 cloves/6 pepper corn, yogurt,& chili powder &mix well.Set aside to marinate for 1 hour.
  2. Heat ghee/white oil in a non stick pan. Add remaining cloves, green cardamon, pepper corn, bay leaves, green chilies mix & saute till fragrant .
  3. Add onion mix & saute till golden . Add the chicken along with marinade ,mix well & cook on high flame for 4/5mins.
  4. Add rice & salt &mix lightly . Add 2& 1/2 cups water mix well , cover & cook till rice & chicken are fully done.
  5. Serve hot garnished with chopped coriander.
