ABOUT Paneer sandwich RECIPE

This protein packed sandwich is ideal for breakfast as well as to pack in tiffin for a filling snack.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bread 12 slices
  2. Cottage cheese 150 gms
  3. Capsicum(Red,yellow ,green) 1 cup
  4. Onions 2
  5. Tomato 1 small
  6. Green chilli 1
  7. Black pepper 1 tsp
  8. Oil 1 tbsp
  9. Oregano/mixed herbs 1 tsp
  10. Red chilli flakes 1 tsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Butter as needed

Instructions

  1. Keep a pan with oil to heat.
  2. Put finely chopped onions and green chilli in the hot oil.Saute for 1 minute.
  3. Then add finely chopped capsicums.
  4. Saute for 3 to 4 minutes and then add chopped tomato.
  5. Saute for a minute and add crumbled paneer.
  6. Add salt,black pepper,oregano and chilli flakes.
  7. Mix well and put off the gas.Our stuffing is ready.
  8. Take two bread slices.Apply butter on both slices.
  9. Put the paneer stuffing on a bread and cover with other bread.
  10. Keep to grill in sandwich maker.Apply butter on top of both breads.
  11. When the sandwich is grilled remove in a plate.
  12. Cut into pieces and serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
