ABOUT White Bread RECIPE

A slice of freshly baked bread ,the aroma just awesome.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 4 cups All Purpose Flour
  2. 1tbsp Honey
  3. 2 tesp yeast
  4. 5 tbsp soft butter
  5. 4 tbsp milk powder
  6. 1 3/4 tesp salt
  7. 1 1/4 cup warm water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl combine warm water,yeast and honey,mix let stand for 5 minutes.
  2. To it add flour,salt, butter and milk powder.
  3. Mix it well and transfer to a floured board.
  4. Knead to 15 minutes till soft,make a ball of the dough ,brush oil and place on a well oiled bowl covered with a plastic wrap.
  5. Wait for it to almost double in size.
  6. Deflate the dough, and form a log , tucking the ends .
  7. Place on a buttered 9" bread pan with seam facing down the loaf pan.
  8. Set aside to rise just a little above the pan.
  9. Preheat oven 180℃ for 10 minutes.
  10. Brush it with little diluted milk and place in the oven.
  11. Bake at 170℃ for 30 to 35 minutes.
  12. Remove apply egg wash or butter and place back in oven increasing the temperature to 200℃ for 2 to 3 minutes with top rod on.Remove when the top of the bread is brown.Apply butter.Let cool for 1 to 2 hours on a cooling rack.Your dread is ready to slice.
