ABOUT Chocolate Chip Cookies RECIPE

Anything with chocolate is my kid's favourite. The lovely delicious chocolate chip cookies are best munched on with warm glass of milk

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 cup +2 tbsp all purpose flour
  2. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  3. 1 tsp corn flour
  4. 1/2 tsp Salt
  5. 90g unsalted butter melted
  6. 1/4 cup +3 tbsp brown sugar
  7. 1/4 cup white sugar
  8. 1 egg
  9. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  10. 90g chocolate chips+ additional for topping

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, corn flour and salt. Keep it aside
  2. Melt butter, allow to cool, add both sugars and whisk well
  3. Add egg and whisk until it's frothy. Add vanilla extract and mix well
  4. Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients until just combined
  5. Add chocolate chips and mix . Do not over combine. Cover with plastic wrap
  6. Refrigerate the mixture for 4-5 hours or overnight
  7. Preheat oven to 170. Line baking tray. Using ice-cream scoop , drop equal portions of cookie dough on baking tray, leave gap of 3 cm between the cookies
  8. Bake for 12-13 minutes until slightly golden brown on edges. Cookies will appear soft and underbaked. While it's still warm, you can add additional chocolate chip on top gently.
  9. Cool completely on wire wrack. Store in airtight container, it will remain good for several days at room temperature. Serve with cup of milk or tea
