ABOUT Tandoori Aloo RECIPE

The so cute baby potatoes in a crunchy spiced up avatar - A delicious starter coated in a mouth watering marination, pan tossed with a blend of amazing spices, and served hot with green coriander chutney. A very easy potato delicacy,very quick to make with our simple recipe video. So gulp down these bite sized potatoes while they are still hot, and enjoy the aromatic flavors :)

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Baby potato - 20 Pc.
  2. Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - ¼ Tsp
  3. Tandoori masala - 2 Tbsp
  4. Thick curd - ¼ Cup
  5. Dhaniya Powder - 1 Tsp
  6. Kasuri methi - Roasted & Crushed - 3/4 Tsp
  7. ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tsp
  8. Roasted jeera Powder - 1 Tsp
  9. lemon Juice - 1 Tsp
  10. oil - 1 Tbsp + 2 Tbsp
  11. salt - To Taste
  12. cornflour - 1 Tbsp


  1. Wash Potato thoroughly. Boil for a whistle so that it is partially cooked.
  2. After a whistle, with help of a spetula take out the extra steam left in the cooker to stop the further boiling process.
  3. Cool Down. Pierce few holes in each potato with fork.
  4. Take Curd in a bowl. Add Tandoori Masala.
  5. Add all the Spices & Salt.
  6. Add Cornflour, Ginger Garlic Paste, 1 Tbsp Oil & Lemon.
  7. Mix Well. Marination is ready.
  8. Add Potatoes to it. Mix so that each potato is coated well with the marinate.
  9. Cover & Refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
  10. Heat 2 Tbsp Oil in a non stick pan. Cook on low flame.
  11. Add Potato. Cook from a side.
  12. Flip to other side. Likewise cook from all the sides. This will take around 20 minutes.
  13. Take out once it turns golden brown. Serve Hot with Green chutney.
