About Paneer popcorn Recipe

I usually make this snack in Ramadan iftar.

Paneer popcorn

Ingredients to make Paneer popcorn

  • For marination
  • 11 cubes of paneer
  • 1/4 tap haldi powder
  • 1tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2tsp Kashmiri lal Mirch pwd
  • 1/2 tsp mixed herbs
  • 1/2 tsp pepper crushed
  • salt to taste.......
  • Other ingredients
  • 1/4 cup corn flour
  • 1cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp pepper crushed
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4cup water
  • oil for deep frying

How to make Paneer popcorn

  1. Firstly in a large mixing bowl add 11 cubes of paneer
  2. Now add all the ingredients of marination in the Paneer
  3. Mix well making sure all the spices are coated well to Paneer
  4. Now prepare corn flour paste by taking 1/4cup corn flour, salt, pepper and water.mix it well and make a lump free smooth batter
  5. Now dipmarinated paneer in the corn flour batter
  6. Further, roll into breadcrumbs coating all the sides
  7. Again ,dip the Paneer in cornflour better and breadcrumbs better(double coating)
  8. Deep fry in hot oil
  9. Stir occasionally, keeping the flame on medium
  10. Fry till the Paneer become golden brown and crisp
  11. Serve it hot with tomato sauce

My Tip:

Instead of frying you can also bake it at 180 •/• c.
