Sheer Khurma

Ingredients to make Sheer Khurma

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1kg Milk
  • 1 packet Sewai
  • 1 cup Chopped nuts of your choice
  • 1 tbspn caradom powder
  • 1/2 cup rice ( soaked before and dried then grinded to powder)
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • Silver foil for garnishing
  • 1 tbspn kewra / rose water

How to make Sheer Khurma

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and add chopped nuts and fry them, take out and keep aside, in same ghee roast sewai till golden brown and crisp and keep them aside too.
  2. Take rice powder in bowl and make paste with little water or milk .
  3. Take milk in heavy bottom pan and boil it, mix sugar and cook it it thickens .Add chopped nuts and sweat to it cook till 5-10 minutes
  4. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes and pour in serving dish, garnish with silver foil and chopped nuts, with sprinkling rose water to it, Your sheer khurma is ready. Enjoy

My Tip:

Keep stirring the spoon while boiling milk to avoid getting burnt .
