Very attractive gift pack shaped snacks with mushroom stuffing.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For dough-
  2. Wheat flour 1/2cup
  3. Maida 1/2cup
  4. Salt as per taste
  5. Oil 1tsp
  6. For color dough:
  7. Beetroot juice 2tsp
  8. Palak puree 2tsp
  9. For stuffing -
  10. Chopped Mushroom 1/2cup
  11. Chopped onion 1no
  12. Chopped green chilli 2no
  13. Chopped Coriander leaves 2tsp
  14. Ginger garlic paste 1tsp
  15. Red chilli powder 1tsp
  16. Garam masala powder 1tsp
  17. Turmeric powder 1/4tsp Salt
  18. Salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. For dough-
  2. Make a soft dough mixing all the ingredients. Cover for 5minutes.
  3. Divide into three parts. One large and two small quantities.
  4. Take the small quantity balls, add beetroot juice and palak puree and knead well so that doughs are evenly colored.
  5. In a nonstick add oil, when became hot add onion, green chilli, ginger garlic paste, saute till raw smell goes.
  6. Add the mushrooms and cook on high flame till all water evaporates, then add spices, salt and mix well,
  7. Finally add coriander leaves. Stuffing ready.
  8. Roll the green colored dough and cut into long stripes.
  9. Do the same for pink one and make small flowers out of the dough.
  10. Roll the normal dough balls into medium sized round shape.
  11. Place 1tbsp mushroom stuffing on the center, fold both the sides and then the ends.
  12. Use little water to glue the ends.
  13. It will look like a box, wrap them with the green strips vertically and horizontally.
  14. Place the tiny pink flowers on the center and around carefully and every time use little water to glue. Repeat for all.
  15. Deep fry them in medium heat till both sides turn golden in color.
  16. Serve warm with tomato ketchup or any sauce of your choice.
