Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Urad dal 140 gms
  2. Channa dal (kadala parupu) 120 gms
  3. White sesame 30 gms
  4. 4 pieces of garlic
  5. 3/4 tesp asafodita
  6. salt as per taste
  7. Dry red chilli 15 to 18 pieces
  8. 1 tesp whole black pepper
  9. Oil 2 tesp

Instructions

  1. Place Kadai on medium low heat,dry roast the sesame till light brown,remove let cool
  2. Add 1/2 tesp oil saute pepper and remove,in the same oil saute garlic till light brown and remove.
  3. Add 1/2 tesp oil saute asafodita and remove,
  4. Add 1/2 tesp oil saute channel dal and urad dal till light brown remove to cool
  5. Add 1/2 tesp oil saute the red chilli and remove
  6. Mix all adding salt and cool.
  7. Transfer to a mixi jar and make a coarse powder of it.
  8. Remove cool and store in air tight container.
