ABOUT eggs malai curry RECIPE

A mild and delicious egg curry made with spices and coconut milk to be served with just some steamed rice on the side

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. boiled eggs 4
  2. chopped onion 1
  3. ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon
  4. chopped tomatoes 1
  5. turmeric powder half teaspoon
  6. red chilli powder half teaspoon
  7. coriander powder half a teaspoon
  8. cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon
  9. garam masala powder 1/8 teaspoon
  10. coconut milk 1 Cup
  11. salt as required
  12. sugar 1/8 teaspoon
  13. refined oil

Instructions

  1. boil the eggs,peel and keep them aside. Heat some oil and add the boiled eggs. Lightly fry them and keep aside.
  2. heat some more oil in the same pan , add the chopped onions and saute until Golden Brown.
  3. now add some ginger garlic paste and sort it for a few seconds
  4. now add the powdered masalas and salt and fry for a few more seconds.
  5. add the chopped tomatoes. Mix and cook until the tomatoes are mushy and soft.
  6. Once the Masala starts leaving oil at the boil eggs and cook for a few more seconds.
  7. now add about half a cup of water and let this boil
  8. add the coconut milk mix well and cook for few more minutes.
  9. once the curry is thick enough ,take it out and serve hot.
