Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ingredients for curry
  2. 1 tablespoon oil
  3. 2 tablespoon butter
  4. Whole masala
  5. {1 bay leaf/tejpatta
  6. 1 big cardmom /moti elaichi
  7. 1 inch piece cinemon/dalchinni
  8. 1 teaspoon black cumin /shah jeera
  9. 3 cloves/laung
  10. 3 cardamoms /choti elaichi}
  11. 1cup chopped onion
  12. 1 tablespoon chopped green chillies
  13. 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  14. 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  15. 1/3 teaspoon haldi /turmeric powder
  16. 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  17. 1/2 teaspoon jeera powder
  18. 1 tablespoon coriender powder/dhania powder
  19. 2 cups chopped tomatoes
  20. Handful of cashews/kaju
  21. 2+1/2 cup water
  22. 1 teaspoon kasuri methi /dried fenugreek leaves
  23. 1 teaspoon sugar
  24. salt to taste
  25. 1/4 cup cream
  26. Ingredients for koftas
  27. 1 cup cottage cheese/paneer mashed
  28. 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
  29. 2 tablespoon chopped coriender leaves
  30. 1 tablespoon choped ginger
  31. 1 tablespoon chopped green chillies
  32. 2 tablespoon chopped nuts
  33. 1+1/2 tablespoon cornflour
  34. salt to taste
  35. oil for frying
  36. Chopped coriender &
  37. cream for garnishing


  1. Heat oil in a wok with butter
  2. Splutter above mentioned whole masala
  3. Add onions fry little
  4. Then add green chillies sautey for some time on medium flame
  5. Add ginger and garlic cook for some time but don't over fry.
  6. Add turmeric chilli cumin and coriender powder mix them all
  7. Add tomatoes cook till mushy
  8. Add cashews with little salt
  9. Add water and let them cook till cashews soft and all the ingredients mixed up
  10. Turn off the flame and let them cool
  11. Mix cheese potatoes corn flour Coriender ginger chillies and salt and nuts in a bowl make a soft dough
  12. And make rolls out of the dough you can make koftas round or cylindrical per choice
  13. Fry all rolls till golden brown take them out on a absorbant paper
  14. Discard the bay leaf and in a mixer jar grind the onoin tomato puree in to paste
  15. Sieve the paste through strainer adjust water to get desired consistency of curry
  16. Heat the wok let the boil comes in curry add dried methi leaves sugar and salt to taste
  17. Cook for some time till the curry thickens or you get desired thickness
  18. Add cream mix well off the flame
  19. At the time of serving line the koftas on a serving dish
  20. And pour hot hot curry over the koftas garnish with cream and coriender .
