ABOUT Aaloo Paratha RECIPE

Name a kid who doesn't like aaloo...Aaloo paratha is good breakfast / brunch option. These soft whole wheat parathas stuffed with tasty, flavorful potato filling, topped with Makkhan are just irresistible.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. For Dough-
  2. 2 bowls wheat flour
  3. Salt
  4. Desi Ghee 2tsp
  5. Water
  6. For Stuffing-
  7. 4-5 medium sized boiled and peeled potatoes
  8. Finely chopped coriander
  9. Red chilli powder
  10. Cumin Powder
  11. Coriander Powder
  12. Salt

Instructions

  1. Make a semi soft dough. Keep it aside for at least half an hour.
  2. Mash potatoes, add all spices, coriander and salt.n You can add green chilly+ginger+garlic paste and chopped onions too. I did not add all these as I wanted dominating flavour of potatoes in my parathas.
  3. Take dough, make a ball, roll into small disc. Put stuffing, make a potli. Again roll.
  4. Put this Paratha on hot tava/pan. Roast both sides with generous amount of desi ghee.
  5. Top it up with butter, serve hot with sweet curd and pickle of your choice. Enjoy!
