Ingredients to make Oil free turai moong dal

  • water 1/3 cup
  • onion 1/2 cup
  • Turai 2 cups
  • Add masala( haldi,salt,mirchi,garam masala)
  • moong dal 1/2 cup
  • mustard seeds
  • jeera seeds
  • Corinader leaves
  • curry leaves

How to make Oil free turai moong dal

  1. ADD 1/3 CUP OF WATER AS LAYER 1, ADD 1/2 CUP OF ONION AS LAYER 2, 2 CUPS OF TURAI AS LAYER 3
  2. ADD MASALA(GARAM MASALA, SALT , RED CHILLY POWDER, HALDI, (1/4 TSP EACH)
  3. ADD 1/2 CUP SOAKED MOONG DAL
  4. COVER AND 5 WHISTLES ON FULL
  5. REMOVE WHISTLE INSTANTLY AND RELEASE PRESSURE
  6. OPEN THE PAN
  7. IN A TADKA PAN , DRY ROAST JEERA(1/4 TSP) AND MUSTURD SEEDS(1/4 TSP)
  8. ADD IN KARI PATTA AND DRY ROAST IT TOO
  9. CHECK IF MOONG DAL IS DONE!!!
  10. MIX IN THE DRY TADKA AND CORINANDER LEAVES
  11. MIX IN AMD.SERVE
  12. SERVE AND ENJOY THE TASTE
