About Paneer Kulcha Recipe

Delicious kulcha stuffed with paneer and topped with paneer goes well with all masala spicy gravies

Paneer Kulcha

Ingredients to make Paneer Kulcha

  • For dough
  • 2 cups maida
  • 11/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Half teaspoon salt
  • Milk as required
  • 3 Teaspoon oil
  • For stuffing
  • 1.5 cups paneer grated
  • 1 green chili finely chopped
  • half teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • half teaspoon garam masala
  • half teaspoon ajwain
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoon finely chopped coriander leaves
  • one teaspoon amchoor powder
  • salt to taste
  • FOR GARNISH
  • 2 to 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 to 4 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 2-3 tablespoon kalonji

How to make Paneer Kulcha

  1. ADD FLOUR, SALT, SUGAR, BAKING POWDER AND MIX WELL
  2. ADD MILK AND OIL. KNEAD SMOOTH DOUGH
  3. COAT DOUGH WITH 1 TSP OIL. COVER AND LET IT REST FOR 2 HOURS
  4. IN A BOWL, ADD PANEER, GINGER GARLIC PASTE, SPICES, AJWAIN,SALT, GREEN CHILLIES, CORIANDER LEAVES
  5. MIX EVERYTHING WELL AND KEEP IT ASIDE
  6. KNEAD DOUGH FOR 2-3 MINUTES
  7. TAKE SMALL PORTION OF DOUGH, ROLL IT LIKE PURI
  8. PLACE PANEER FILLING AT CENTRE, COVER AND SEAL COMPLETELY
  9. REVERSE AND SPRINKLE KALONJI AND CORIANDER LEAVES
  10. REverse AND GENTLY ROLL THE DOUGH INTO ROUND OR OVAL SHAPE
  11. BRUSH WATER ON ROTI
  12. FLIP AND PLACE ON HOT TAWA. PRESS KULCHA ON TAWA
  13. FLIP TAWA AFTER A MINUTE AND COOK UPSIDE DOWN DIRECTLY ON THE FLAME TILL GOLDEN BROWN AND PUFFED UP
  14. GENTLY SCRAPE THE KULCHA FROM BOTTOM AND BRUSH BUTTER ON THE TOP
  15. SERVE HOT WITH YOUR FAVOURITE CURRY
