ABOUT Multi millet Choco banana muffins RECIPE

Delicious and healthy chocolate and banana muffins made with mixed millet flour and bananas were sweet enough so the muffins didn't require any sugar. Super healthy for kids and toddlers.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Over ripened Bananas 2 large
  2. Eggs 2
  3. Mixed millet flour 1/2 cup
  4. Cocoa powder 2 tablespoon
  5. Dark chocolate 50g
  6. butter 2 tablespoon
  7. Salt a pinch
  8. Vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate and butter in a microwave for 30 seconds or until melted completely
  2. Sieve the multi millet flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt for 5-6 times.
  3. Mash the bananas well with a fork.
  4. Beat the eggs till light and fluffy for about three minutes.
  5. Fold in the flour and mix with a spatula.
  6. Add the mashed bananas, chocolate mixture and vanilla extract. Mix everything well until a smooth batter is formed
  7. Oil the muffin tray with a brush. Pour the batter in the muffin tray.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean.
