Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. All purpose flour 2 cups
  2. Yeast 3/4 tablespoon
  3. Milk half cup
  4. Sugar 2 teaspoon
  5. Butter 3 tblespoons
  6. White sesame seeds 2 tablespoons
  7. potato 1
  8. carrot 2
  9. onion 1
  10. green peas half cup
  11. Garam Masala half teaspoon
  12. turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  13. chili powder to teaspoon
  14. egg yolk 1
  15. salt to taste
  16. oil 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. first of all boil all the veggies
  2. heat oil in a kadai add chopped onion and saute till they become soft
  3. add cooked veggies masalas and salt. Saute them for a minute
  4. in a bowl mix sugar with lukewarm milk and then with yeast. Rest it for about an hour
  5. combine Maida with oil two tablespoons of butter, milk activated yeast mixture and salt. Then knead into a soft dough
  6. cover the dough with a clean cloth for about an hour
  7. puff out the air out of the dough by pressing with fingers
  8. divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into balls
  9. roll out the balls to about 4 diameter
  10. make four diagonals slits leaving the centre intact
  11. spoon the veg fillings and add in the center
  12. cover the filling like rose petals
  13. Place the rolls on a greased tray. Brush the roses with beaten egg yolk and sprinkle some sesame seeds
  14. Bake them on a pre heated oven at 180 C for about 10 minutes
  15. Take out of the oven and brush with some melted buter.
