ABOUT Triffle Pudding RECIPE

This is all time favourite pudding of my son. It is as simple as tasty. It contains sponge cake, custard and lots of fruits.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Milk- 1 liter
  2. Custard powder- 2 tbsp
  3. Sponge cake- 1
  4. Sugar- 1 cup
  5. Mango- 1
  6. Banana- 2
  7. Pomegranate- 1 cup
  8. Apple- 1
  9. Marigold biscuit- 1 packet
  10. Tutti futti- 2 tbsp ( optional)
  11. Jam

Instructions

  1. Take 1 lit of milk in thick bottomed pan and keep it on stove.
  2. While the milk is heated, take 2 tbsp warm milk in a bowl and add 2tbs custard powder.
  3. Make a smooth paste without any lumps.
  4. When the milk has become to normal heat add 1 cup sugar and stir very well till sugar gets dissolve.
  5. Stir constantly while the custard is cooking.
  6. When it starts thicken switch off the flame . Let it cool down.
  7. Now cut all the fruits in small cubes.
  8. Crush the Marie biscuit.
  9. Now start assembling to make the pudding.
  10. Take a tray or any bowl and spread crushed biscuit evenly.
  11. Put the jam on cake cubes and spread the cake cubes all over.
  12. Now make the layer of mixed fruits.
  13. Again spread the cake cubes. And put the mixed fruits.
  14. Repeat this process till end.
  15. Now pour the prepared custard slowly throughout the bowl.
  16. Keep this in the fridge for 2 to 3 hr to set.
  17. Serve it chilled.
