Cottage Cheese Pudding

Ingredients to make Cottage Cheese Pudding

  • 1 litre milk
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon semolina
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ghee
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 10 gram cherry
  • 10 gram pistachio

How to make Cottage Cheese Pudding

  1. Boil the milk in a heavy bottom pan in a medium heat,stir in between,as the milk boils, gradually add the lime juice and stir slowly.
  2. Turn off the flame when the milk gets curdled.
  3. Now strain the curdled milk through a muslin cloth.
  4. Press the chenna to take out the water and transfer into a bowl.
  5. Add semolina,sugar and some chenna water, and mix well .
  6. Now add baking powder,ghee,vanilla essence,pistachio and again mix well.
  7. Take an aluminium foil,grease it with ghee and pour the mixture into the foil.
  8. Put it into the oven to 165° C and for 1 hour.
  9. Let it cool,garnish with cherry ,cut into slices and serve.

My Tip:

Serve when chilled.
