ABOUT Muzaffar RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 tbsp Jeera Samba rice,
  2. 15 Almonds [soaked and deskinned and ground to paste]
  3. 10 Almonds and 5 cashews [blanched and slivered]
  4. Pistas and Chironji few- say around 3 spoons together
  5. Milk - 1/2 liter
  6. Khoya 75 gms
  7. Sugar- 1 cup (basing on your preference)
  8. Saffron few strands
  9. 2 cloves
  10. A pinch of cardamom powder,

Instructions

  1. Soak rice for half an hour and pressure cook in milk for 1 whistle (close the lid only once the milk starts boiling, keep stirring till then) turn off and let the whistle cool down and now open cooking starts!
  2. Cook rice under low flame till it becomes tender, keep stirring else it gets burnt if rice settles down, once rice is tender almond paste and cook, add softened khoa and cook, add sugar and stir, then add saffron, slivered almonds and cashews, add cardamom powder.
  3. Then heat a spoon of ghee and roast dry fruits and clove, add this to Muzaffar
