ABOUT Butterscotch Shrikhand.... RECIPE

A yummy slurpy variation by me to the ever famous dessert- shrikhand. An innovative take on this lovely dessert for Eid by me. You will love this wonderful combo that not only looks fantastic but also tastes equally great. Enjoy this Eid with desserts that will make your celebrations perfect with sheerkhurma ofcourse being there in the picture. Treat your guests to this and a delicious bowl of sewaiyan. They are definitely gonna love this super combo on this special day. Enjoyyyyyyyyyy your Eid and make a difference with this unique dessert made and relished in Northern parts of the Country.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Fresh yoghurt 2 kg
  2. Sugar 2/3 cup
  3. Cashewnuts 1/4 cup
  4. Butterscotch chips 100 gm
  5. Mango large 1

Instructions

  1. Tie up yoghurt in a clean cotton cloth and keep it in a strainer with a bowl underneath it.
  2. Leave it in the refrigerator overnight.
  3. Next day, stir in sugar as desired.
  4. Melt butterscotch chips and keep aside.
  5. It's time for assembling. Use shot glasses or bowls as desired for this. First fill half of them with shrikhand as the base in all.
  6. Now stir in 2 tablespoons of melted butterscotch flavour chips in each.
  7. Chop mangoes into small cubes and arrange them on top with a cashewnut.
  8. Serve these chilled to your guests on Eid along with sheerkhurma. They will surely relish this double bonanza.
