Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Minced meat 250 grams
  2. 4 tbsp grated coconut
  3. 2 green chilli
  4. 1 tesp chilli powder
  5. 1/4 tesp turmeric powder
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1 medium onion chopped
  8. 1" cinamom stick
  9. 2 cloves
  10. 3/4 tesp fennel seeds
  11. 1/2 tesp whole black pepper
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 1" piece ginger
  14. 1/2 cup pottu kadalai or fried gram powder
  15. 1" piece ginger
  16. 6 pods of garlic
  17. Oil to shallow fry

Instructions

  1. Saute minced meat in a kadai on medium heat till dry.
  2. Remove cool,transfer to a mix jar and pulse it a couple of times.
  3. Transfer this to a bowl
  4. Make a paste of onion, chilli, ginger ,garlic ,cinnamon,clove,fennel seeds,chilli powder,turmeric ,salt and coconut in a mix jar.
  5. Add this to the mutton along with fried gram powder.
  6. Mix well,make lemon sized balls out of the mutton mixture.
  7. Refrigerate it for 20 minutes
  8. Shallow fry till golden brown.
  9. Mutton kola urundai is ready.
