Chicken masala

Ingredients to make Chicken masala

  • chicken (legs Nd wings) - 600 GM,
  • onions finely chopped - 3 nos,
  • tomatoes grated - 3-4,
  • garlic -10 cloves grated,
  • ginger - 1 tsp grated.,
  • green chillies - 5-6 finely chopped,
  • lemon juice - 1 tsp,
  • coriander leaves for garnishing
  • Dry spices : salt to taste,
  • red chilli powder - 2 tsp,
  • turmeric powder - 1 tsp,
  • coriander powder - 2 tsp,
  • kasoori methi powder - 1 tblspn,
  • garam masala - 2 tsp.

How to make Chicken masala

  1. Wash chicken well, sprinkle 1/2 tsp of salt on it Nd keep aside for half an hour.
  2. Now oil in kadhai, put chopped onion ndd green chillies. Saute until light brown.
  3. Add chicken Nd ginger garlic. Saute for atleast 10 mints.
  4. Add dry ingredients one by one.
  5. Now turn to add grated tomatoes. Saute well
  6. Put water as per requirement. I added 3/4 cup. I needed masala not gravy more.
  7. Cook until well combined Nd chicken pieces well cooked.
  8. Finally garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
