Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 2 Cup besan
  2. half teaspoon coriander powder
  3. one fourth teaspoon Garam Masala
  4. 1/4 teaspoon sabut dhaniya
  5. 1/4 teaspoon sauif
  6. one fourth teaspoon ajwain
  7. 1 teaspoon salt
  8. one fourth teaspoon haldi powder
  9. teaspoon Lal mirch powder
  10. 2 tbsp oil
  11. 3 tbsp curd
  12. 2 tbsp water
  13. for gravy
  14. 3 tbsp oil
  15. 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  16. 2 green chilli
  17. paste of two onion
  18. Puree of one tomato
  19. 1tablespoon jeera
  20. 14 tbsp musturd seeds
  21. Tejpatta
  22. 2-3cloves
  23. Pinch of heeng
  24. 1tbsp red chilli powder
  25. 1tablespoon haldi powder
  26. one and half tablespoon salt
  27. 1/2 tbsp Garam Masala
  28. 1 tbsp coriander powder
  29. 3 tbsp Beated curd

Instructions

  1. take besan in a bowl
  2. add all the ingredients for dough;jeera poder;mirch;ajwain;sauif;sabut dhaniyaetc
  3. mix and rock the floor between your hands
  4. add curd and water to make dough
  5. Make long rolls of dough n cut into small peices
  6. Takea pan fill it with water n heat it
  7. When water starts boiling add rolls into water
  8. Allow them cook for 8-10 min
  9. Take the rolls out when they start floating on the surface of water
  10. Gatte is ready now
  11. For gravy
  12. take a pan add some oil into it
  13. put Hing jeera into the oil and fry it
  14. Add tej patta n cloves
  15. add onion paste and ginger garlic paste
  16. try it till golden brown
  17. tomato puree and green chilli
  18. Fry it till masala leave d oil
  19. Add all dry spices
  20. Mix well
  21. Add beated curd
  22. At last add salt n kasuri methi
  23. Now add gatte n boiling water
  24. Serve it hot garnish with dhaniya leaves
