Kesar Badam Kulfi

Ingredients to make Kesar Badam Kulfi

  • Milk 1 litre
  • sugar 1/2 cup
  • saffron 1/2 tsp
  • cardamom 6-8 pods
  • almond 2-3 tbsp

How to make Kesar Badam Kulfi

  1. Soak saffron in hot milk and keep it aside. Chop almonds and keep it aside.
  2. Now start heating the milk in a pan. Once it gets a roaring boil, add saffron with milk, stir well and cook on medium-high flame until it reduces to half, most probably about 25-30 minutes. Once its reduced to half, add the chopped nuts and sugar. Stir well and cook for 5 more minutes. Switch off the flame, add the cardamom and let it cool to room temperature. And freeze it for 4-5 hours.
  3. After 4 hours remove it, grind it and add to the kulfi moulds and freeze for 6-8 hours. Take the kulfi moulds out, use a butter knife and loosen the edges. Serve and enjoy
