Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2 bowls dosa batter
  2. 1 tsp ginger-garlic-chilli paste
  3. 1 tsp Salt
  4. 1.5 tsp Sugar
  5. 1tsp fruit salt
  6. 2 tbsp sour curd (or malai curd+ 1tbsp lemon juice)
  7. 2 tbsp Oil
  8. Curry leaves
  9. Green chillies
  10. Coriander leaves
  11. Mustard & Cumin seeds
  12. Asafoetida

Instructions

  1. Mix dosa batter, sugar, salt, ginger-garlic-chilli paste, curd, pinch of asafoetida.
  2. Boil water in steamer. Grease Dhokla plate.
  3. Sprinkle fruit salt on batter. Sprinkle little water on it. Bubbles will be formed. Mix well but don't overdo.
  4. Immediately transfer the batter into Dhokla plate and put it inside the steamer, steam for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Once it's done, let it cool. Prepare tadka using mustard, cumin, curry leaves, green chillies, asafoetida and pour it on Dhoklas.
  6. Garnish with finely chopped coriander and serve with sweet tamarind chutney & mint chutney. Enjoy!!
