Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 cup all purpose flour
  2. 1 tsp baking powder
  3. 2 eggs
  4. 1 tsp cardamom powder
  5. 1 tsp rose water
  6. 1/2 cup melted butter
  7. 1/2 cup plain yoghurt
  8. 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp sugar
  9. 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp blanched slivered almonds
  10. 1 tbsp chopped pistachios


  1. Preheat oven to 180 and line muffin tin
  2. Sieve flour and baking powder, keep it aside
  3. Beat eggs and sugar in a bowl for 10-12 minutes using blender
  4. Add yoghurt, butter, cardamom and rose water. Mix well
  5. Add dry ingredients and blend well
  6. Fold in 1/4 cup almonds and pour batter into prepared muffin tin. Garnish with slivered almonds and pistachios
  7. Bake for 18-25 minutes until golden brown and firm to touch. Allow to cool for 15 minutes
  8. Demould and serve the delicious cupcakes
