gulab jamun is a sweet which is loved by everyone,this is favorite sweet of everyone,on this Ramadan eid thought of making jamun,these are made of fresh mawa /khoya,they are very easy to make just need patience thats all

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 750 gram sugar
  2. 2cups of water
  3. 250 gms grated mawa
  4. 75gms grated paneer
  5. 1/4 th cup of all purpose flour
  6. 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  7. enough ghee for deep frying
  8. some roughly chopped dry fruits


  1. add water to sugar
  2. keep on flame
  3. let the sugar dissolve
  4. make one thread consistency
  5. add cardmom powder
  6. in a bowl take grated mawa
  7. add grated paneer
  8. add all purpose flour
  9. mash for 5minutes and make dough
  10. make equal balls of dough
  11. stuff chopped dry fruits in between
  12. again make round crackfree balls
  13. keep ghee in deep pan on flame
  14. leave a small piece of batter in ghee
  15. look if it has become hot
  16. if its not breaking in ghee add 5-6 gulab jamun at a time
  17. do not touch the spatula to gulab jamun
  18. just pour same ghee over jamuns from sides
  19. as they turn golden dark color remove them
  20. dip in sugar syrup
  21. keep them in syrup for two hours
