Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup Kabuli chana soaked overnight
  2. One medium onion finely chopped
  3. 5 cloves of crushed garlic
  4. two medium tomatoes roughly chop
  5. 3 Green Chili roughly chopped
  6. half inch Ginger roughly chopped
  7. half teaspoon turmeric powder
  8. 2 teaspoon coriander powder
  9. 2 teaspoon Garam Masala
  10. half teaspoon red chilli powder
  11. salt to taste
  12. 4 crushed whole cloves

Instructions

  1. heat oil in the pressure cooker
  2. add finely chopped onion and crushed garlic
  3. keep stirring till the onion turns light brown
  4. then add Kabuli Chana and mix well
  5. blend together tomato green chilli Ginger into puree
  6. add crushed whole cloves and tomato puree into the pressure cooker
  7. keep stirring till the tomato puree dries up
  8. add all the dry Spice powders and mix well and add salt to taste
  9. add three to four cups of water
  10. close the lid and keep it on full till the three whistles go
  11. simmer for 10 minutes
  12. switch off the gas and check if the Kabuli chana is cooked well
  13. Serve hot with rice, bhature or simply roti.
