Ingredients to make Sev Bhaji (Khandeshi Style)

  • For sev
  • besan atta 2 cup
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • oil for frying
  • For curry masala
  • onions 2 no sliced horizontally
  • Dry coconut 1/2cup greated
  • ginger 1/2 inch
  • garlic 6 cloves
  • Dry coriander seeds 1 Tbsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • coriander powder 1tsp
  • Sev bhaji masala(Or maharashtrian garam masala,) 1 Tbsp
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • salt as per taste

How to make Sev Bhaji (Khandeshi Style)

  1. PREPARE ALL INGREDIENTS
  2. CUT ONIONS SLICED AND DRY ROAST ON TAVA WITH 1 TSP OIL.
  3. REMOVE ROASTED BROWN ONIONS FROM TAVA.
  4. ROAST GRATED DRY COCONUT ON TAVA WITH 1 TSP OIL.
  5. REMOVE ROASTED BROWN DRY COCONUT FROM TAVA.
  6. AGAIN ROAST VORIANDER SEEDS ON TAVA WITH 1 TSP OIL.
  7. GRIND ALLTOGETHER WITH WATER IN MIXER AND MAKE FINE PASTE.
  8. GRIND.
  9. MAKE A FINE PASTE
  10. FOR SEV MIX BESAN ATTA,SALT,RED CHIILI POWDER,TURMURIC AND OIL WITH WATER
  11. MAKE SEMI SOFT DOUGH .
  12. ADD OIL IN KADHAIE FOR FRYING SEV
  13. APPLY OIL INSIDE THE SEV MAKER PLACE SEV DOUGH IN SEV MAKER MACHINE( PUT MEDIUM SIZE SEV SACHA)
  14. CLOSE SEV MAKER MACHINE PROPERLY
  15. PRESS MACHIN SLOWLY SLOWLY AND FRY SEV IN HOT OIL.
  16. FRY SEV UNTIL CRISPY AND GOLDEN COLOUR
  17. FOR MAKING MASALA HEAT SOME OIL IN KADHAIE.
  18. ADD GRINDED FINE PASTE.
  19. IN DRY MASALA ADD HOT WATER BECAUSETHE COLOUR OF CURRY WILL BEAUTIFUL (BRIGHT RED)
  20. ADD MASALA PASTE IN KADHAIE WITH GRINDED PASTE IN IT AND FRY UNTIL OIL SEPRATES FROM THE MASALA.
  21. SOUTE UNTIL OIL SEPARATES FROM MASALA
  22. SEV IS READY .
  23. FOR 2TBSP READY MASALA ADD 2 GLASS OF HOT BOILING WATER
  24. ADD SALT AS PER YOUR TASTE
  25. AFTER BOILING CURRY FINELLY ADD FRIED SEV AND CLOSE THE GAS FLAME AFTER 5 MINUTES.
