ABOUT Moringa Leaves Stir fry(DrumstickLeaves) RECIPE

Moringa tree is called 'Miracle tree'.The all parts of Moringa trees are very much beneficial to human health. The most proteinecious part of the tree is Moringa leaves or Drumstick leaves.It is a delicious dish prepared for lunch. This dish is also prepared in West Bengal and also in Kerala(South India). Flavours are awesome.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Drumstick leaves 200 gm
  2. Grated Garlic 2 teaspoon
  3. 2 dried red chillies
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Sugar 1 teaspoon
  6. 1/2 cup water
  7. White sunflower oil 2 Table spoon

Instructions

  1. TAKE ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER.200 GM DRUMSTICK LEAVES,2 TSP GARLIC,SALT,SUGAR, WHITEOIL,DRY CHILLIES
  2. WASH AND DRAIN THE DRUMSTICK LEAVES .
  3. ADD 1/2 CUP WATER, SPRINKLE SALT
  4. ADD DRAINED AND SOAKED DRUMSTICK LEAVES.COOK WITH THE LID&CLOSED FOR AT LEAST 10 MINS.
  5. OPEN THE LID AFTER 10 MINS. THE LEAVES SHOULD BE COOKED.ADD 2 TABLE SPOON SUNFLOWER OIL.
  6. NOW ADD 2 DRIED CRUSHED RED CHILLIES.
  7. NEXT ADD 2 TEASPOON GRATED GARLIC.SAUTE FOR COUPLE OF MINUTES ON A MEDIUM FLAME.
  8. AFTER SAUTING ADD BOILED DRUMSTICK LEAVES.STIRRED WELL AND COOK FOR ANOTHER 5 MINS WITHOUT THE LID.
  9. ADD 1 TEASPOON SALT AND 1 TEASPOON SUGAR.
  10. NOW ADD 1 TEASPOON SUGAR AND SALT TO TASTE, STIRRED OCCASIONALLY FOR ANOTHER 3 MINS.
