Whenever I do not like to cook very spicy biryani, I love to cook White Chicken Biryani because its taste and aroma is really mouthwatering and it is liked by my family members.

chicken pieces 1 kg
Onion 4
Ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon
green chillies 14
white pepper powder 1/2teaspoon
Curd 3 tablespoon
poppy seed 1 tablespoon
Green cardamom 6
Clove 4
Mace two pinch
Salt for gravy 1 1/2 teaspoon
Oil 200 ml
Bay leaf 4
Cinnamon stick 4
Biryani rice 1 kg
Instructions
CUT THE ONIONS IN FINE SLICE AND KEEP ASIDE.
GRIND ONE ONION AND 7-8 GREEN CHILLIES.
TAKE OUT THE ONION AND GREEN CHILLIES PASTE IN A BOWL.
TAKE OUT ALL THE INGREDIENTS AT ONE PLACE.
TAKE A WOK, HEAT OIL AND THEN ADD SLICED ONION IN IT.
WHEN ONION BECOME TRANSCLUCENT, ADD GINGER GARLIC PASTE AND ONION AND GREEN CHILLIES PASTE.
AFTER COOKING FOR FIVE MINUTES, ADD WHITE PEPPER POWDER,RED CHILLIES, GREEN CARDAMOM,CLOVE AND SALT.
NOW ADD POPPY SEED, GREEN CARDAMOM, MACE'S PASTE IN IT AND MIX WELL.
NOW ADD CURD AND THEN CHICKEN IN IT.
ADD GREEN CHILLIES AND MIX WELL.
ADD HALF GLASS OF WATER AND COVER THE LID AND COOK FOR FIFTEEN MINUTES ON LOW FLAME.
TAKE A VESSEL, BOIL WATER WITH SIX TEASPOON OF SALT.WHEN WATER START BOILING, ADD WATER SOAKED RICE.
COOK THE RICE THREE FORTH AND THEN STRAIN THE WATER, MAKE FIRST LAYER WITH RICE.
POUR THE GRAVY AND THEN LAYER THE RICE.COVER THE LID AND COOK FOR TWENTY FIVE MINUTES ON LOW FLAME.
SWITCH OFF THE FLAME.AFTER TEN MINUTES, TAKE OUT WHITE BIRYANI IN A RICE DISH.
SERVE HOT WITH CHUTNEY, RAITA AND SALAD.
