Oats idli

Ingredients to make Oats idli

  • One cup oat
  • 2 teaspoon rawa
  • 1 cup curd
  • 1/2 cup finely chooped carrot capsicum
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • curry leaves
  • Salt red chilly
  • oil three spoon
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • Little water
  • ENO salt one packet

How to make Oats idli

  1. Take a pan nd dry roast rawa and oats for five minutes and keep aside to cool down. When it cools down then grind.
  2. Put two teaspoon oil in a pan, put mustard seens, curry leaves, when they start crackling add vegetables and saute well for two minutes.
  3. Add salt, red chilly cumin powder and grinded oats and rawa. Put little water. Take it from the stove and let it cool. Add curd and mix well, make idli batter and keep aside for five minutes.
  4. Grease the idli mould with oil. Now add the ENO salt to the idli mixture. Pour the idli mixture in mould immediately, and microwave for four minutes. Or steam idli your own way.
  5. Serve with ketchup or green chutney sambhar.

My Tip:

Use lemon juice for tanginess
