Ingredients to make BAIGUN BHAJA IN BENGALI STYLE

  • Brinjal / eggplants - 1 large ( cut into round pieces )
  • chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Bengal gram flour - 2 tablespoons
  • oil - 2 tablespoons
  • sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon

How to make BAIGUN BHAJA IN BENGALI STYLE

  1. CUT THE BRINJAL / EGGPLANT INTO THE SLICE AND LITTLE SLIT THEM
  2. ADD 1/2 TEASPOON SALT , 1/2 TEASPOON TURMERIC POWDER , 1/2 TEASPOON RED CHILLI POWDER
  3. 1/2 TEASPOON CUMIN POWDER , 1/2 TEASPOON CORIANDER POWDER , 1 TEASPOON SUGAR
  4. ADD 2 TABLESPOONS GEAM FLOUR AND MIX WELL
  5. MUX VERY GENTLY ALL THE SLICES OF EGGPLANT
  6. HEAT 2 TABLESPOONS OIL IN A PAN
  7. ARRANGE THE EGGPLANTS SLICES ONE BY ONE
  8. FRY IT IN LOW MEDIUM HEAT AND LID THE COVER
  9. FRY IT IN BOTH SIDES TILL GOLDEN BROWN IN COLORS AND SERVE
