Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken...1/2kg
  2. Baby onion....150gm
  3. Onion_ginger_garlic paste...5tspn
  4. Tomato paste...3tspn
  5. Dry red chilli...3
  6. Fresh malai...1cup
  7. Dry Kashmiri red chilli...4
  8. Green chilli...3
  9. Curd ... 100gm
  10. Turmeric powder...2tspn
  11. Cumin powder...1tspn
  12. Coriander powder...1tspn
  13. Garam masala...1tspn
  14. Kasturi methi...2tspn
  15. Salt to taste
  16. Oil as needed
  17. Butter...50gm

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken for at least 2 hours with salt, curd, turmeric powder & red chilli powder.
  2. Shallow fry the baby onion. Make a paste of fresh malai, dry red chilli, kashmiri red chilli & green chilli.
  3. Heat butter, add onion_ginger_garlic paste & fry it for few minutes.
  4. Add tomato paste & marinated chicken.Mix it well.
  5. Add malai _ chilli paste & all spices.Stir it constantly to avoid burning.
  6. After 10 to 15 minutes add some hot water.Cover it & boil the chicken properly.
  7. After that add fried baby onion, crushed kasturi methi, garam masala.Cook it for another 5 to 10 minutes.Adjust salt & gravy.
  8. Serve it hot with butter naan or roti.
