Idly Noodles

Ingredients to make Idly Noodles

  • 10 Idlis
  • 1 medium size onion
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 tsp of oil
  • 1/4 tsp of mustard seeds and urad dhal
  • 1 tsp Channa dhal
  • 1 spring of curry leaves and corainder leaves

How to make Idly Noodles

  1. Prepare idly in a idly maker and allow it to cool for a while. In a string hopper maker or Murukku maker, squeeze the cooked idlies. The idlies will be transformed into thin strings.
  2. Chop the onions, slice the green chilies and keep aside
  3. In a kadai, add oil, then mustard seeds, after the mustard seeds splutter, add bengal gram, urad dhal. After the dhals get roasted add curry leaves, onions and green chilies.
  4. Saute the onions and add salt to it. After a couple of minutes add the strings into the kadai and give a swirl so that the onions get mixed up with the noodle idlies. That's it, now you can serve.
