About Kofta Curry Recipe

This is a delicious and flavourful curry made with chicken minced koftas, a perfect side dish to be served with roti or naan.

Kofta Curry

Ingredients to make Kofta Curry

  • chicken mince 400 grms
  • 1 TBSP red chilli POWDER
  • 1 TBSP coriander POWDER
  • 1 TBSP cumin POWDER
  • 2 TBSP ginger GARLIC PASTE
  • salt
  • 1 TBSP coconut POWDER
  • 1 TBSP besan
  • 1/4 TSP GARAM masala POWDER
  • 1/2 TSP turmeric POWDER
  • FOR THE GRAVY :
  • onion - 4 [GROUND INTO PASTE]
  • 1 TSP chilli POWDER
  • 1 TSP DHANIA [coriander] POWDER
  • salt

  • 1 SLIT green chilly

How to make Kofta Curry

  1. TAKE 400 GRMS CHICKEN MINCE AND ADD 1 TSP SALT AND 1/2 TSP HALDI [TURMERIC] POWDER
  2. ADD 1 TBSP EACH RED CHILLI, DHANIA AND ZEERA PWDR
  3. ADD 2 TBSP GINGER GARLIC PASTE
  4. ADD 1 TBSP COCONUT PWDR AND BESAN AND 1/4 TSP GARAM MASALA PWDR
  5. ADD 1 TBSP OIL
  6. MIX EVERYTHING WELL
  7. ADD 20 MINT LEAVES AND MIX AND LET IT MARINATE FOR 30 MIN
  8. TAKE SMALL AMOUNT OF MINCE IN OILED HANDS AND MAKE SMALL BALLS
  9. ROLL AND MAKE SMALL EVEN BALLS
  10. DROP THEM IN HOT OIL ON MEDIUM FLAME
  11. FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN
  12. DON'T USE A SPATULA, TURN THE KABABS BY MOVING THE POT
  13. REMOVE SOME OIL,MOVE THE KABABS ON THE SIDE , AND ADD 4 GROUNDED ONION PASTE AND FRY
  14. ADD 1 TSP TH PASTE
  15. ADD 1 TSP CHILLIE ,DHANIA PWDR AND SALT AND 1 SLIT GREEN CHILLIE
  16. MIX AND FRY THE ONIONS. ONIONS NEED TO B FRIED THOROUGHLY
  17. ADD LITTLE WATER
  18. COVER AND COOK FOR 20 TO 25 MINS
  19. YOU SHOULD SEE OIL ON TOP
