ABOUT Instant Rava Idly RECIPE

A quick dish which is a bkend of curd and rava with added flavours of some veggies whuch can be make within 10 mins of time

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Sour Curd 1 cup
  2. Rava [semolina] 1 cup
  3. Grated carrot 1/4 cup
  4. Cashews 6
  5. Mustard 1 tsp
  6. Eno fruit sakt 1 tsp
  7. Urad dal 1 tsp
  8. Chana dal 1 tsp
  9. Corriander leaves few
  10. Salt

Instructions

  1. Heat kadai and add oil
  2. Temper with mustard seeds, urad dal , chana dal
  3. Then add raga in to this and fry for a minute in low flame.
  4. Now add curry leaves and corriander leaves and switch off the flame
  5. Transfer in to a vessel, once it cools down add salt and curd, mix well
  6. If required add little water.batter should be like idly batter consistency
  7. Now add fruitsalt in to this, mix well . Take a idly plate grease oil and put one cashew and 1tsp grated carrot and on the top pour the batter.
  8. Steam it for 5 mins and serve hot with coconut chutney
