Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Semolina (sooji) 180 gm
  2. Yogurt 250gm
  3. Water 150milliliter
  4. Ginger paste 1/2tsp
  5. Green chillies 2tsp
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. Boiled green peas 2tsp
  8. Bell pepper 2tsp
  9. Coriander leaves 2tsp
  10. Oil 2tsp
  11. Mustard seed 1/4tsp
  12. White lentils 1/2
  13. Curry leaves 10-12
  14. Fruit salt 1/2tsp
  15. Water 2tsp
  16. Oil 2tsp
  17. Mustard seed 1/4tsp

Instructions

  1. In Mixing bowl add 180gm sooji, 250gm dahi, 150ml water,1/2 tsp ginger paste,2tsp green chilli, salt, boiled green peas, coriander leaves and bell pepper mix it well.
  2. Rest the mixture for 10 minutes
  3. Add 2tsp oil in a pan, add 1/2 tsp mustard seed and white lentils, stir well
  4. Add 10-12 curry leaves and again stir for 1-2 minutes
  5. Transfer the tempering in Suji mixture and mix it well
  6. Now add 1 /2 tsp fruit salt ,2tsp water and mix it well
  7. Heat 2tsp 0il in a pan add 1/4 tsp mustard seed,pour the idli batter and spread evenly
  8. Cover it with lid and cook for2-3 mintues
  9. Flip it gently and cook it another side of 2-3 minutes
  10. Serve hot with cocunut chutney
