    Ingredients to make French Fries

    • 3 large sized potatoes
    • Required amount of refined oil to fry
    • salt to taste
    • tomato Ketchup and Mayonnaise ( Dips)

    How to make French Fries

    1. Take a stainless steel bowl and boil enough water for the potatoes.
    2. Bring the water to a boil and add in the potatoes. Switch off the heat and leave the potatoes in the boiling water for 6-7 minutes.
    3. After this time period, drain the water and wipe the potatoes. Peel the potatoes one by one and cut them into long strips of pieces.
    4. Take a deep frying pan, pour in required oil to fry. Put in the sliced potatoes and deep fry for 1 minute.
    5. Then lower the flame and fry the potatoes till they are cooked, note that they should not change too much colour.
    6. Once cooked, move the fries to a plate and drain the excess oil with paper towels or tissues.
    7. Before serving, fry the potatoes once again on high heat till it is crisp and golden brown in colour.
    8. Sprinkle salt on top according to taste.
    9. Serve hot with optional dipping sauce of tomato ketchup and mayonnaise.
