ABOUT Raw Mango curry RECIPE

Sweet, spicy and sour with the flavour of kalonji . Simple to make and easy to store. As I always suggest that slow cooking process gives a wonderful taste and texture. Here also use the same process. Hope you like it.....

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 5 Small and round sized raw mango Cut into chunks
  2. 2 Onion Chopped
  3. 1 tbsp Onion Seeds
  4. 2 tbsp Sugar
  5. 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilly powder
  6. 1 tbsp Red chilly powder
  7. 1 tbsp Curry masala powder
  8. 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  9. 1 tsp Garam masala powder
  10. 1 tsp Curry leaves powder
  11. Coriander leaves
  12. 1 tsp Mustard
  13. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  14. fenugreek and fennel seeds (mix) - 1 tsp
  15. Salt to taste
  16. Mustard Oil

Instructions

  1. Take a mixing bowl mix all ingredients one by one except spices seeds and oil. Cover and leave this for 1 hour. After one hour heat a kadhai along with 1 cup of oil add seeds mix when they start crackling add onion seeds stir then add
  2. add onion seeds stir then add onion ,when onion slightly shrink add all mango mix with its leftover water. Stir nicely cook on low flame till done. Check if need water. Leave mangoes little crunchy . It will give you a nice taste.
  3. You may also store this curry at least 4 to 5 days in refrigerator. *You may also increase the taste of sweetness if you want.
