Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Wet ingredients:-
  2. 1 cup Yogurt
  3. 1/2 cup refined oil
  4. Dry ingredients:-
  5. 1 cup all-purpose flour
  6. 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  7. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  8. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  9. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  10. 1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg powder
  11. 1 cup assorted dry fruits and nuts (raisin,cherry, cashew and winter melon candy)
  12. A pinch of orange zest
  13. 1/2 teaspoon salt


  1. In a bowl add yogurt and whisk it,add oil,give a good mix and keep it aside.
  2. In another bowl sieve all purpose flour, powdered sugar, baking powder and baking soda.
  3. Meanwhile pre-heat the oven to 180°Centigrade.
  4. Combine wet ingredients with the dry ingredients adding cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder,orange zest and salt.
  5. Give a mix just enough so that there are no lumps.
  6. Now add dry fruits and mix again.
  7. Transfer the batter in a baking dish which is greased well with oil.
  8. Spread the cake batter well and add more dry fruits on the top.
  9. Bake the cake in oven for 40-45 minutes.
  10. After 40 minutes, check with a toothpick,if it comes out clean,its ready otherwise bake for another few minutes.
  11. Once the cake is done, allow to cool it.
  12. Yummy and easy yogurt cake is ready to serve.
